Movie night at the park generated BUZZ with the screening of "The Pollinators," a 2019 documentary that showcases the long journeys and hard work undertaken year-round by beekeepers and their hundreds of thousands of honeybees. On May 9, 2026 the Conservancy held its annual Spring Planting Day in Founders Park. The focus for this year's planting was creating"soft landing" areas around three of the park's largest trees, on the south side of the park. The Conservancy held its Spring Cleanup Day on Saturday, April 25. We started a little early because of predicted rain, and managed to clear all of the gardens' dead matter before the rain drove us inside. The gardens are now ready for Planting Day, which will be May 9th this year. Cleaning of the playground, planned for Cleanup Day, was delayed by two days, and happened Monday, April 26th. Flexible Warehousing allowed us to use their water, but are not open on Saturdays.
