Movie Night: Intelligent Trees

Neighbors watch "Intelligent Trees" in the Founders Park Community Center

Founders Park Conservancy partnered with the South Orange Public Library to show the environmental themed film "Intelligent Trees" to a neighborhood gathering inside the Founders Park Community Center on April 30.

Library Director Jill Flaherty welcomed the group, and explained how library card holders can access thousands of free movies through the Kanopy service.

Conservancy members screened the movie, and provided refreshments.

Discussion followed the screening

Following the showing, the group discussed the rather surprising content of the film, and its implications for forest management today.

The next free Movie Night will feature "The Pollinators" on May 28th at 7:00pm inside the Community Center. Space in the Community Center is limited, and reservations are encouraged.
